About Isle of Wight Pride
Isle of Wight Pride started in 2017, with the first Pride Parade on the Island on 15th July. Our annual Isle of Wight Pride event is held every summer on the seafront in Ryde. The event begins with the Pride Parade and continues throughout the day with live entertainment and our Community Village of local organisations, charities and businesses.
What started as a small, volunteer-led initiative has grown into a vibrant annual Pride festival that brings people together. For one day each year, Ryde fills with colour, music, and joy — but more importantly, with connection. Families attend together, young people see themselves represented, and many experience their first moment of openly celebrating who they are.
